The science

Elastocaloric materials can warm under mechanical loading and cool when that load is released. Releasing heat between those steps can turn the cycle into useful cooling. Our fixed cold packets, cycle counts and instant transfers are game rules, not measured device performance.

Inspired by HKUST’s September 2026 cooling research and KIT’s heat-driven cooling work.
